Strawberry Sheera

I got a handful of fresh strawberries while my recent trip to Panchgani. These fresh red and juicy strawberries are heaven to have just like that. Alas, like most mothers would agree, it’s the most difficult task to feed your child the most nutritious and fresh thing especially when you have a toddler throwing tantrums every now and then. So comes the strawberry sheera with fresh strawberries and Mapro crush for my little one to make him have his share all his way.

  4. Meanwhile, cut strawberries in fine pieces
  5. Mix milk and water (total 2 1/2 cup) and heat it in other vessel
  6. Add hot milk and water mixture and khoya to sooji and mix well. Break lumps of khoya if there.
  7. Cover with lid and let sooji cook for 3-4 minutes
  8. Now add strawberries and crush
  9. Add sugar, dry fruit powder. You can add cut pieces of dry fruits also.
  10. A pinch of cardomom powder if you like
  11. Mix everything well. You will see sooji absorbing all pink colour from strwaberry.
  12. Serve hot. This also tastes good when cold as the sooji absorbs the flavours of strawberry
